About the role / About the school Al Maha Private School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Primary Teacher to join our team in Muscat for an immediate start. We are looking for a qualified primary educator to teach Years 1 and 2, with responsibility for English, Mathematics and Global Perspectives. Al Maha Private School follows the Cambridge International curriculum and provides a warm, supportive and child-centred learning environment where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially and personally. The successful candidate will be a confident and engaging classroom practitioner who can plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons, build positive relationships with young learners, and contribute actively to our collaborative school community. Key responsibilities - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging primary lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum. - Assess, record, and report on the academic progress and social development of students. - Maintain an inspiring, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. - Integrate educational technology effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. - Communicate regularly and constructively with parents regarding student welfare. - Participate actively in extra-curricular programmes, staff meetings, and school events. - Collaborate effectively with year-group colleagues and the primary leadership team.
