Secondary Humanities Teacher Position in Yangon, Myanmar Yangon, Myanmar Posted by: ALBA International School Contact: lowersecondary@alba-edu.com Asia Language and British Alma (ALBA International School) is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to teach in Yangon, Myanmar with a September start date. Job Details: Secondary position- Years 7-9 Humanities Teacher Work hours of 8:15am-3:45pm, Monday – Friday Contract date: 15th September 2026 – 15th March 2027 Maximum of 25 contact hours per week Requirements: Fluent in English A bachelor’s degree in any field of study (Preferably Education) A TESOL, TEFL or CELTA Certificate Two years’ teaching experience (Those with less can still apply) Must be a passport holder of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, S. Africa, Australia or New Zealand Job Offer: Salary of $1,700 - $1,900 USD/month Housing provided near the school campus (Central Yangon) Paid sick leave/paid national holidays Airport pick-up and assistance with getting to know the area upon arrival Business visas and work documents for all necessary government forms provided If you are interested in applying for the secondary position, please send your degree/certificates, resume and two reference letters to our Executive Principal, Gregory J.
