My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language from Tongji University, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Sunderland, and the National Professional Qualification in Headship (NPQH). I am also currently completing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at the University of Chester.
Teaching experience
I have over 15 years of international education experience across the Middle East and Asia, including nine years as the Founding Principal of the English International School-Baghdad. I have led the school’s growth from its start-up phase to an established Reception–Year 13 institution serving more than 800 students, while securing BSO recognition and establishing Iraq’s first Pearson Edexcel Examination Centre. Alongside my school leadership role, I have served as a School Inspector with Penta International since November 2024 and hold regional leadership affiliations including BSME Country Representative for Iraq. Earlier in my career, I held teaching and departmental leadership positions in Saudi Arabia and China.
