Teaching experience
I have a diverse teaching and education background, with experience working in both school and tertiary education environments in Saudi Arabia. I taught elementary learners at Al Khaleej Training and Education in Dammam, where I taught English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. This experience gave me a strong understanding of the needs of young learners and the importance of creating engaging, differentiated, and supportive learning environments. I also worked as a Homeroom Teacher at Rowad Al Khaleej International School in Dammam, where I was responsible for classroom management, lesson planning, learner assessment, monitoring student progress, and communicating with parents. In addition, I worked as a Guest Relations Management Lecturer at the College of Excellence in Madinah. This strengthened my ability to facilitate learning with older students, develop learning activities, assess performance, and adapt my teaching approach to different learning needs. Alongside my teaching experience, I have supported assessment moderation, learner-progress monitoring, professional development, and teacher collaboration. My wider management background has also developed my leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-development skills. I believe this combination of classroom experience and leadership experience prepares me well for an HOD role, because I understand both sides of the role: supporting teachers while maintaining a strong focus on learner achievement and high-quality teaching.
