I am looking for an English/ESL Teacher/Instructor role. I live in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) but am open to relocation for the right opportunity. I am a UK national available immediately and possess a teaching qualification as well as several years of classroom teaching experience in Saudi Arabia as well as France, in addition to years of tutoring in various countries and subjects including English. Recently employed by the SACA (Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation) for a course which ended in July, I was previously with Majmaah University's Institute for Studies and Consulting working for the RSADF (Royal Saudi Air Defence Forces). After many delays, it was unable to get a new contract for the project where I was working, due to the military situation in the Gulf: it was deemed imprudent to continue bringing teachers onto the base, so I must find employment elsewhere. I worked for the RSADF for 2 years, teaching Cadets and Officers English (as well as General and Military Technology). The Program Manager (military), as well as the Course Coordinator (civilian) vouch for my professional rigour and quality. I am proud to have obtained their support, as the military is demanding of instructors. I have also taught at other levels in Saudi Arabia. For all of those experiences I have references: my Program Supervisor at the University of Tabuk; the School Director at Mughrizat International School in Riyadh; the English Head of Department and my Lead Teacher at Manarat International School in Riyadh; both a civilian and a military supervisor at the RSADF. I was only with my most recent employer, the SACA, for a 2-month course, but the students loved me and did well in exams, so if you wish to reach out to my supervisor there, I can give contact details. I have a BA in English (Teaching stream), a Licence in its country of issue (France). It represents 3 years of study and a broad outlook on English teaching, with modules ranging from linguistics and didactics to literature and social studies. It has satisfied reputable employers in Saudi Arabia, as well as in France, where I have previously been employed by the Ministry of Education. I am passionate, open, honest, good at building rapport, and have a lot of my career still ahead of me, with the intent to spend many years of it in my next role.
