Introduction

'm an American educator with over a decade of experience teaching and leading schools across six countries and four continents. I hold two Master's degrees in Education, UK Qualified Teacher Status, and have taught everything from AP English Literature to middle school writing to English language learners in Tokyo. My approach is simple: I meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. Whether you're preparing for IELTS, polishing a university admissions essay, building confidence in academic writing, or looking for structured English conversation practice with a qualified professional, I bring patience, structure, and genuine enthusiasm for helping people improve. I've worked with students aged 11 through adult, from over 40 nationalities, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I'm especially effective with students who want to improve their academic English writing, prepare for standardised tests, or build the critical thinking and communication skills they need for university-level work. I'm currently based in the Pacific Islands (US territory) and available for lessons across all time zones. I look forward to working with you.

Teaching experience

11+ years across six countries including the United States, Japan, Jamaica, Liberia, and the Pacific Islands. Former high school principal and deputy headmaster with classroom teaching experience in AP English Literature, US History, and World History. Currently teaching middle school English and designing founding school programmes. Experience with both native English speakers and English as a Second/Additional Language learners across diverse international school communities.
