Introduction

Hello! I’m Simrun, a friendly and enthusiastic UK-qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and five years of experience in education. I have taught in both the UK and international British school settings, working with students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I particularly enjoy helping learners develop their confidence in English and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes. My lessons are engaging, supportive and adapted to the individual learner. Whether you would like to improve your speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing or general confidence in English, I will tailor lessons to your needs and goals. Having worked internationally, I understand the challenges of communicating and learning in a different language and cultural environment. Teaching experience

I am a UK-qualified Primary School Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and five years of experience in education across UK and international British curriculum settings. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners from a wide range of cultural, linguistic and educational backgrounds, including pupils learning English as an additional language (EAL). I have extensive experience adapting lessons to individual needs and abilities, helping learners build their confidence, communication skills and independence. My teaching experience covers the full primary curriculum, with a strong focus on developing speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary and comprehension skills. I use engaging, enquiry-based and personalised teaching approaches to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Having taught internationally, including at the British School of Nanjing within Nord Anglia Education, I am confident working with students from different cultures and language backgrounds. I create a patient, positive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable speaking English, asking questions and making mistakes. I am passionate about helping students become confident English speakers and tailor my online lessons to each learner’s goals, level and preferred learning style.
