Introduction

I am a dedicated and approachable educator with a strong background in adult education, international studies and community leadership. I enjoy supporting learners to develop their confidence, communication skills and achieve their educational goals. I hold a CELTA from the University of Cambridge, an MA in United Nations and Diplomatic Studies, and a BA (Hons) in International Studies. My teaching approach is inclusive, supportive and learner-centred, with a particular interest in helping adults progress academically, professionally and personally.

Teaching experience

CELTA-qualified adult educator with 5 years of teaching experience since 2021. Experienced in teaching English and supporting adult learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. I have worked with The Open University as an Associate Lecturer/International Advisor and as a Community English Tutor, delivering academic and functional English support. I have experience with both online and face-to-face teaching, using learner-centred approaches to build confidence, communication skills and academic development.
