Introduction

I'm an online English teacher with over 20 years of experience helping students build real, confident English skills. I specialize in *Business English, Conversational English, and General English*, working with learners at all levels — from beginners building their first foundations to professionals polishing their fluency for the workplace. My lessons are practical, personalized, and built around how you'll actually use English: - **Business English** — I help professionals communicate confidently in meetings, emails, negotiations, presentations, and interviews, focusing on the vocabulary and tone needed in real workplace situations. - **Conversational English** — Using a communicative approach, I create a relaxed, low-pressure space where students practice speaking naturally, build fluency, and gain confidence expressing themselves in everyday situations. - **General English** — I combine strong grammar foundations with vocabulary building and all four core skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing), tailored to each student's level and pace.

Teaching experience

I am an experienced English language educator with over 20 years of teaching experience spanning secondary education and higher education in Azerbaijan. My career began in 2004 as an English teacher at the Modern Education Complex named after H. Aliyev, followed by a teaching role at Dunya High School (2005–2006). I then moved to Odlar Yurdu University (2007–2010), marking my transition into higher education, where I taught English at the university level. Since September 2009, I have been affiliated with the Department of Phonetics of the English Language at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, where I continue to teach to the present day. Most recently, in February 2024, I also joined UNEC (Azerbaijan State University of Economics) as part of my ongoing academic career. Throughout my career, I have continually invested in professional development, participating in numerous international conferences, workshops, and courses — including the Teaching Knowledge Test (2012), the International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers (2013), workshops on Syntax, Semantics, and Phonology in Barcelona (2016), the ELT Forum in Bratislava (2016), and training on engaging studies with AI through Imperial English UK. This reflects my commitment to staying current with evolving pedagogical methods and language teaching practices. My academic background — including a PhD in Linguistics from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, a second PhD-level program at Masaryk University's Faculty of Arts, and a Bachelor's degree in English Philology — underpins my specialization in phonetics, linguistics, and English language instruction at both secondary and tertiary levels.
