About Me

Hello! I’m a CELTA-certified English teacher from Ireland with over 15 years of experience teaching adults from around the world. I specialise in personalised English lessons designed around each student’s individual needs, goals and level. Whether you want to improve your Business English, prepare for IELTS, communicate more confidently at work, improve your grammar or simply become more comfortable speaking English, I can help you develop the skills and confidence you need. My approach is practical and focused on helping you use English in real-life situations. I believe that regular practice is one of the most effective ways to improve, so I also help students develop a consistent daily practice that can become a natural part of their routine. I currently work with adult learners from a variety of backgrounds, including through my collaboration with BLCC, focusing on Business English, grammar and general conversation. I have a particular interest in helping professionals build confidence when communicating with clients and colleagues, participating in meetings, giving presentations and handling everyday social situations in English. I also created englishlearningnews.com a website offering free English lessons and learning resources, and I create short educational videos on YouTube covering vocabulary, phrasal verbs, idioms, pronunciation, grammar and practical communication. My goal is to make English learning practical, personalised and enjoyable, while helping you become a more confident and independent English speaker.
