Introduction

Hello! My name is Emily, I am an English teacher from Oxford in the UK. I have been teaching English ever since I got my CELTA certificate in 2014. I studied Language Studies at university in the UK, where I learnt about linguistics and also Spanish as a second language. I'm a friendly, relaxed teacher who pays great attention to detail and has an excellent knowledge of grammar. I always strive to make sure the lessons suit you and you learn something useful each class! I favour lexical and communicative approaches - focusing on useful chunks of vocabulary and encouraging communication inside and outside of class.

Teaching experience

I have a total of 12 years' experience in the teaching field. I've taught all levels, from A1-C2 and I have spent the past 9 years teaching Cambridge exams. I also have experience in teaching IELTS, General English, and Business English.
