Introduction

With a PhD in American Studies and 28 years of teaching English across Georgia, Saudi Arabia, and Ireland, I bring both academic depth and real-world classroom versatility — from literature and exam preparation (IELTS, CAE, OET) to Business and Medical English. I design lessons that spark genuine curiosity rather than rote compliance, believing students learn best when they're surprised, challenged, and personally invested. I'm now seeking to bring that same energy to an international school community in Muscat, contributing both subject expertise and a lasting commitment to student growth.

Teaching experience

28 years of international English teaching experience across academic, business, and exam-preparation contexts. Currently Linguistics Lecturer at Caucasus University and EAP Lecturer at Ilia State University; also teach ESP-Medicine and OET preparation at Georgian American University. Previous roles include Business English Lecturer at The Oxford Partnership College (Saudi Arabia), English Literature Teacher at IB Mthiebi, IELTS Instructor, and teaching at several private schools in Tbilisi. Delivered guest academic lectures at the University of Limerick, Ireland (Erasmus+ Staff Mobility).
