International Bachelor in Math and IT, Master in Education Canada
My teaching philosophy is built on the Triple P: Passion, Purpose and People. Passion. My love for teaching was ignited early. My mother was a teacher, and watching her inspire students planted the seed in me from childhood. When I was just 12 years old, I substituted for her for an entire week, teaching Science to her students. The school director was astonished at how engaged and calm the class was. Later, I had the extraordinary privilege of being mentored by a Mathematics teacher whose students consistently won first and second place at the International Mathematics Olympiad — an experience that shaped my entire approach to the subject. Purpose. My purpose is simple — to help every student believe they can succeed. During my 8 years teaching Mathematics across multiple school boards in Quebec, Canada, I became the only teacher in North Montreal with students qualifying for the prestigious OptiMath Quebec provincial competition in 2006. I achieved this not through extra resources, but through differentiated instruction, tiered assignments and a genuine investment in each student's potential. People. At the heart of everything I do are the people in front of me. My career — spanning teaching in Canada, senior advisory roles at both the Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada, and director-level positions in international business — has always been defined by one constant: the desire to see others grow and succeed. I care deeply about students, colleagues and communities. International Adaptability. Having lived and worked across 33 countries on 3 continents, I understand what it means to adapt to new cultures, expectations and work environments. I am a native French and Romanian speaker with full professional fluency in English. I hold both Canadian and Romanian citizenships.
10 years international experience. 8 Years in Canada. Teaching Middle School students. Public and private schools.
