About Me

I’m Mary, an English teacher with a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching and over 10 years of teaching experience. Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, both online and in person. I truly enjoy meeting learners from different countries and helping them become more confident and comfortable using English. My teaching style is friendly, energetic, supportive, and student-centred. I believe learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and connected to real-life communication. I always try to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking English, asking questions, and making mistakes without fear. I also have an IELTS score of 7 and a strong academic background in English. Currently, I’m learning Istanbul Turkish at A2+ level, so I understand first-hand what it feels like to learn a new language and face the challenges that come with it.

Teaching experience

I have over 10 years of experience teaching English to students of different ages, levels, and nationalities, both online and in person. I help learners improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and overall communication skills while adapting lessons to their individual needs and goals. I have also worked at English language institutes in my home country.
