Introduction

My teaching style is student-centred, supportive and adaptable. I focus on creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions and express themselves. I adapt my approach according to each student’s ability, learning needs and pace, using clear explanations, examples, questioning and interactive activities to make learning engaging. I particularly enjoy helping students build confidence alongside their academic skills. Whether working with a whole class, a small group or one-to-one, I aim to identify areas for improvement, provide encouragement and break challenging concepts into manageable steps. My experience in primary teaching, English tutoring and public speaking has helped me develop a patient and flexible approach that supports both academic progress and personal development.

Teaching experience

I am an experienced educator with over six years of teaching and tutoring experience across primary education, English, public speaking and communication. I began my teaching career as a Primary Teacher at Delhi Public School, India (2020–2022), teaching Grades 1–5 and supporting students with English reading, comprehension and wider classroom learning. From 2022–2023, I worked as a Public Speaking Expert at PlanetSpark, delivering personalised English and communication coaching to students and helping them develop confidence, articulation and self-expression. I currently work as an English Tutor at a UK tuition centre, supporting students from Reception to Year 9 across KS1, KS2 and KS3. I teach English in both small-group and one-to-one settings and adapt my teaching to individual learning needs, including providing additional support to students with SEN. My experience has given me a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and developed my ability to create engaging, supportive and student-focused learning environments.
